The Grinch
Are you a fan of Christmas Classics? If so, head on out to see The Grinch because it is an instant Christmas Classic. I will admit, it is not Christmas time around my house until we watch the original “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” from 1966. We love the old school animation and the songs.
I have been stoked to see this new one since I saw the trailers back in May of 2018. From the opening credits you call tell that this movie has a different feel from its two predecessors. The animation style is amazing and matches the feel of all the other Illumination Studios films. This movie has a lot of heart. Its felt through the relationships between the Grinch and Max / the Grinch and his neighbors / and with the Grinch and Cindy Lou who. I really enjoyed watching the Grinch be kind to Max during this outing. This film didn’t try to steal laughs like the 2000 version staring Jim Carrey.
I highly recommend checking this flick out. It should be out soon to own on DVD and Blu Ray.
Othy
Me and the 8 year old really enjoyed this, not sure how we continue to tell the same story but yet it is still entertaining…but it is.
